Big news for the 2026 Kincardine Art Crawl!

We’re excited to welcome Jennifer Mahood as our new Artistic Director for next year’s Crawl!

Jennifer is a Toronto-based creative with roots in small-town Ontario. With her grandfather’s old film camera and a lifelong love of storytelling, she’s built a career around fine art photography, art direction, and all things craft and creative.

Now splitting her time between the city and the lakeshore, Jennifer’s bringing her fresh vision back home to help shape the 2026 Kincardine Art Crawl.

Welcome aboard, Jennifer. We can’t wait to see how your creativity helps the Crawl continue to grow and inspire!

Check out Jennifer's profile for more information about her work.

Chums Beer Raises $500 (and Counting!) for Active Living 55 Plus

chums

Thanks to everyone who shared a can of Chums, our 2024 Kincardine Art Crawl’s signature beer!

We’re thrilled to announce that over 370 cans of Chums have been sold — and we’re donating $500 to Active Living 55 Plus to support their fantastic work in our community.

This partnership grew out of a great connection between Mike at Grey Matter Beer Company and the Kincardine Art Crawl, with Chums brewed as a way to celebrate local art and community spirit.

But we’re not done yet — more cans are still out there, and we’ll be adding to that donation as more are sold. Every sip helps keep Kincardine’s creative energy flowing!

Huge thanks to everyone who’s supported the Crawl, the brewery, and the artists who make this event so special.

What People Are Saying

Participating in this year’s Art Battle in Kincardine was an absolute blast! The event was super well organized, and it was great to see such a supportive crowd cheering us on. I especially loved seeing younger artists take part, and it was awesome to have a fellow painter from Goderich join in too. The energy was fun and friendly, and the whole experience reminded me why I love Kincardine, because we have such an inspiring and creative community here. If I had one wish, it would be for even more people to come out next year—because everyone is an artist and we all want to see more people sharing their creativity! It’s such a fun time, and the friendly competition makes it even better. I’m already looking forward to next year!

I really enjoyed the drawing class that I took during the art crawl. I have never taken a course before and thought this would be a good opportunity to try. And it was! The instructor was so encouraging and helpful. What a great way to explore the arts. I am now looking at taking more art courses so I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Lorie

Just enjoyed the watercolour workshop so much. It was my first time painting with the medium and the instructor made it so fun and approachable. Since the workshop I have bought some watercolours and am having fun learning. So grateful that the Art Crawl provided this opportunity and opened the door to watercolour painting for me.
